Case 13 · Class 02 · 50 kg target
The Young Man Who Could Not Out-Gym His Hormones.
At 31 he trained hard, ate carefully, and still carried weight that refused to move. The gym was not failing him; the hormonal diagnosis was missing.
A 31-year-old man had strong exercise discipline but persistent abdominal fat, low energy, cravings, and low testosterone symptoms. His investigations showed insulin resistance, vitamin D deficiency, low-normal thyroid conversion, and a sex-hormone pattern inconsistent with his training effort. Treatment corrected the metabolic obstacles while preserving his training. He lost 21 kg in six months and reported that workouts finally began producing
visible results. This was the point of the case: effort matters, but effort works only when biology permits it to work.
